Sorry I don’t have a picture — I will very soon! My Brussels Lace Camisole is so close to being finished! I just have to sew up the sides and weave in the ends! I’ll add a picture as soon as I finish it and can get online. As you’ll see, I’ve made a LOT of alterations to it. It’s almost a completely different pattern now — it uses a totally different yarn, has a different number of stitches, and also has a different neckline. Just a few more alterations and I could sell it as a new pattern — just kidding!!!
My little brother has been preparing for his website’s birthday. He baked a cake in celebration and stuff. It’s going to be the site’s second birthday. Tomorrow he is going to bake some cupcakes to go along with it — yummy!
Yesterday I received a letter from my penpal. She is someone that I met on my trip to California — she’s one of my aunt’s friend’s kids, if that makes any sense. She’s the oldest of the five kids but she is three years younger than me. She’s homeschooled (even though her dad works at the high school). She’s a lot different than me, but hey, it’s a lot of fun to get some mail!!
Two of the plants in our yard died from some sort of heatstroke yesterday. We broke a 90 year record, so it’s quite understandable. One cucumber and our winter squash died. The other two cucumbers are thriving — they are enjoying what their companion despised most of all. They’re all the same variety, too!
Ok so I tried to schedule an appointment for my haircut today and every day that I COULD go they have booked! Arrgh. I hope we can work out something, but I might not be able to get my hair cut until AFTER school starts. GRR.
If you’re trying to improve your vocabulary before you go back to school, here are two websites where, by answering vocab questions, you can donate money to organizations:
• Free Rice
• Aid to Children
See ya later!

Yay! So I got a new layout and edited the picture. I know the Banana Smoothie layout was adorable, but this one is so much more lemon twist! The header image I made myself, and I like it a lot! Sometime I might touch it up a little bit, but it’s good enough for now.
Ok, so there was actually a lot I forgot to put in my post for today. Here goes:
Yesterday my brother and I were running around outside. The grass felt so nice and I only thought I would be out there for a minute or two so I didn’t worry about shoes. We were running along and then all of a sudden my toe felt weird. I looked down and there was a HUGE slices on the bottom of my right big toe where the joint is. I kind of freaked out because I didn’t want to have to get a Tetnis (or whatever it is) shot and so I ran inside. It bled a lot but thankfully it got cleaned and I am up on my shots!
It’s kind of hard to walk because the slice is deep but I’m OK. It turns out I stepped on a piece of bark from the apple tree, and it just happened to be a REALLY sharp piece of bark. Odd.
Today I’ve been working on Ravelry and this site. The bug guy came to use an organic method to spray for bugs because there are all sorts of creepy crawlers in Oklahoma.
Enjoy the new layout

Hello everyone! As you may have noticed I added a fashion page…I was bored, ok!
Anyways, this weekend and coming weeks will be busy for me! Fourth of July was yesterday, and it was definitely a fun Independence Day! We had some pretty big fireworks, but our neighbors had really big ones too! We could also see the best firework show in the metro from our house! It was pretty cool!
Sunday is my birthday and I am pretty excited! I don’t know if I’m doing anything much for my birthday. I might go to the mall with my friends or something sometime next week, but I’m not sure.
Thursday I’m leaving for California, where I will be for about two weeks! You won’t be hearing much from me during that time! We’re celebrating my aunt’s birthday plus just visiting with all of my relatives. I have over 20 cousins, just to give you an idea of how many people will be there. It will definitely be fun, but I’m little worried about all the wildfires in California. I hate smoke and it might make it hard to breathe. Oh well — I’ll get to spend practically the whole time I’m there in the pool!
Ok, so I should also update you a bit on some of my knitting, since I haven’t said much at all about that.

I started working on this scarf pretty recently. I got the yarn at a locoal yarn shop. I’m using Jo Sharp Alpaca Silk Georgette, and, oh my gosh, it is SO soft! I decided to make a scarf with it since it’s a bit too expensive to make anything very big. I’ve done a lot more than is in the photograph, and I’ll post an update soon. I’ll also put the pattern on Ravelry when I’m finished, even though it’s really basic.
I’ve also been working on making some little vests for my two new cousins. They are both little boys and recently adopted. We made one a kangaroo vest and another a striped vest, and they are so cute! I’m also going to help make a few of my other young cousins some presents, since we always end up celebrating pretty much everyone’s birthday when we go to California in the summer!
You’ll be hearing more from me later! Have a great weekend!

Ok so I’ve created this new WordPress blog because I, yet again, became bored with my previous blog and felt in the mood to start over. I deleted the old blog incase anyone wonders. It just wasn’t me anymore!
Anyways, I have this literally on WordPress at the moment. However, as soon as I have a layout made and stuff, I’m probably going to move it over. I just am not too crazy about the premade WordPress layouts, but I suppose this banana smoothie one is pretty sweet!
I’m having pizza for dinner tonight…yum yum! I better run off to the feast now.
